Submitted by DA on Wednesday, 13 December 2006No Comment

Microsoft has just released its Robotics Development Platform. Hobbyists and professionals in this field can benefit from this development platform by implementing the software logic using Microsoft’s Visual Studio. The libraries can be compiled using Visual C# and Visual Basic.
Robotics platform has two versions:
- Free for non-commercial development
- US$ 399/- onwards for commercial development
Hmmm…now all I need to do is get me one of those self-assembly robot kits. My first programming instruction;
“R2D2 get me a Coke from the freezer”….;) Damnit…get me a Coke not Pepsi….
“System Error: Please try this Operation Again, R2D2 needs to reboot !”
