Star Steel International, a leading Steel Manufacturing and Trading establishment located in the UAE requires the following personnel for immediate placement.
Lab Technician (2 Nos.):
The incumbent must be either a Science graduate or Diploma in Mech. / Met.
He must have 3 years experience in a laboratory of a rolling mill , micro sample grinding & polishing experience, hands on experience to prepare and test: tensile, bend, re-bend, impact, hardness, chemistry in OES equipment, etc.
Should have knowledge of operation of power hacksaw machine and pedestal grinding machine for sample cutting along with data entry.
Inspector (2 Nos.):
The incumbent must be either a Science graduate or Diploma in Mech. / Met.
The ideal candidate should be computer literate and must have 3 years experience in the inspection dept. of any steel plant / rolling mills, online gas cutting of samples and inspection, hands on experience in handling related instruments, ability to locate and identity defects of products, and be able to write inspection reports.

ITII Eng. Diploma with 10-15 years of experience in a structural mill.
A) Furnace Operator: 3 Nos.,
B) Control Desk: 6 Nos.,
C) Pulpit Operator: 6 Nos.
A) ITI 1 Engineering Diploma with 5- 10 years of experience in furnace operation in refractories.
B) ITI / Eng. Diploma with 5-10 years experience in structural mill and control pulpit operation. Knowledge in speed control of stands is preferred.
A) Straightner Operator: 3 Nos.,
B) Roller: 18 Nos.,
C) Band Saw Operator: 6 Nos.,
D) Tying Machine: 3 Nos.,
E) Crane Operator: 12 Nos.
ITI / Engineering Diploma with 5-10 years of experience in operating the above machines in a structural mill.
Billet Checker: 6 Nos.
ITI with 10 years experience in Billet Checking and Stacking.
Storage Operator: 6 Nos.
ITI with 10 years experience in structural stacking & dispatch.
Roll & Guide Fitter: 12 Nos.
ITII Engineering Diploma with 5-10 years of experience in stand and guide assembly.
CNC Roll Turner: 9 Nos.
ITI 1 Engineering Diploma with 5-10 years of experience in CNC Lathe operation with knowledge in NC programming preferred.
Craftsmen Mechanical: 10 Nos., and Electrical: 10 Nos.
ITI with 10 years experience in structural mill maintenance & knowledge in hydraulics and skills in welding & gas cutting.
Technician (Planning): 2 Nos.
Engineering Diploma with 10 years experience in making production reports and yield calculations. Knowledge in Steel grades is preferable.
