Vacancy Announcement for Kuwaiti & Non-Kuwaiti (Experienced male only)

Kuwait Gulf Oil Company announces that vacancies to be filled in Wafra Joint Operations as follows:

1. Safety Engineer

Purpose & Scope

Plans. supervises and controls Prevention and Loss control functions in order to guarantee the safety of personnel and assets of facilities in the assigned departments of Wafra Joint Operations (WJO);

assists the Supervisor in activities related with the physical protection of the administrative and operative areas;

ensures compliance to safety standards, operating procedures and other safety related rules and regulations; develops and carries out safety training and awareness programs; and investigates accidents / incidents! near misses and recommends solutions.

MINIMUM RELATED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Bs. in Fire & Safety Engineering.

- 6 Years related experience.

Conditions to be fulfilled by applicants:

~ All applicants should be briefed on required conditions for each job in the advertisement.

~ Valid and transferable Visa.

~ Fluency in English both verbally & written.

~ Skilled in utilizing PC and related programs.
