KOC [Kuwait Oil Company] is inviting entries for its photography contest themed ‘Kuwait Yesterday & Today’. This is your chance to take out your digital /non-digital cameras and take cool snaps in and around Kuwait. The prizes are from KD 200 till Kd 50 for various categories and sub-categories. Whilst I agree and encourage photo competitions, I do not think the creators of the competitions should hold the rights of the image. Images are the creation of the photographer, some very valuable and it is a “cheap” way to get a lot of good work for nothing.
