Wataniya Telecom has launched its latest campaign “GiveKuwait” for budding entrepreneurs in Kuwait, to offer them a platform to not only showcase their ideas/businesses, but also to help them in developing their concept to full fledged businesses. Earlier this week Wataniya had briefed me on this campaign. Today they have gone live with the event.

GiveKuwait is a unique offering where Wataniya Telecom will nurture young business heads to conceptualize their unique businesses from ideas to actual business.

Step 1:

The way it works is that, first you have to register on GiveKuwait portal with the details of your business plan.

Step 2:

Wataniya will organize one of the largest exhibitions of its kind. 250 selected participants will receive free space and booths in the exhibition hall for five days. They will be able to further promote their innovative ideas, products and services via the GiveKuwait website and smartphone app. An advertising campaign will create awareness of for selected participants via radio, billboards and press ads.

Step 3:

GiveKuwait is also dedicated to the development of local talent therefore seventy-five participants will be selected to receive skill and business development training. It will be approximately a one-year extensive training and the best professionals from the industry will conduct these classes.

The curriculum of the training sessions:

• Project financial management
• How to start a small business
• How to manage a small business
• How to develop a small business
• How to sell products and services for a small business
• Debate sessions with existing small & medium business owners
• Follow up, consultations and feasibility studies

Step 4:

Once you graduate from the one year of training, Wataniya will help you in promoting your business
