Strawberry Frappuccino

Yesterday Starbucks invited us to try out the newest addition to their Frappuccino line up, Strawberry Frappuccino, at their labs [yep they have one in Kuwait]. The event was organised to taste and before that actually prepare one ourselves. Now I am not a strawberry person, because I’ve this fear of any thing with strawberry tasting like cough medicine, but I had to take a sip of the one, these guys prepared,  just out of courtesy. But I was amazed by the flavors and smooth texture that came off this one. And even the marble finish of the product made it more appetizing to me, so much so that I wish it was renamed to “Bloddy Berry-Licious”.

Ofcourse the other highlight of the event was to let us prepare our own drinks, and  well if you have got the key ingredients at home, its a pretty simple task. But bear in mind the key being here is the secret ingredients which Starbucks uses i.e. the Strawberry syrup and another texture agent.
