This year the Kuwaiti authorities are very strict with travel bans for both expatriates and citizens. The bans could be imposed because of outstanding debts or other judicial issues. In case of travel bans due to debts, one can clear these prior to departure at the airport, but its always safe to check beforehand for such bans.

To check the travel bans you can follow the below steps:

1. Go to Kuwait Courts website on http://www.kuwaitcourts.gov.kw

2. Type your civil id number in the box provided in the area highlighted below on the site and click on the button below

3. Now click the second button as highlighted below, and wait for the response from the site

4. If you are all clear you will see a message like the one below. If there are any outstanding issues, it will be highlighted otherwise
