Shake Burger

Last night I was at the Bloggers Night hosted by Shake Shack – Fanar Mall, for some burger, shake, concrete tasting and an exciting event of ‘make your own concrete’. The event started off with a tour of Shake Shack, and a video presentation giving an insight of Shake Shack operations and values. A great bunch of peppy hosts from Shake Shack were at hand to guide us through the night. We then moved on to trying out the Shake Burger and the Veggie [Portobello cheese]  burger, and you have to give it the Shake Shack for coming up with the awesome and of-course picture perfect Shake burger which is my fav. We had a round of the various shakes that are on offer, which thank god were served in minimal serving sizes.

The highlight of the night was a chance to prepare your own ‘concrete’. Concrete is basically ice-cream [vanilla/chocolate] with added toppings, syrups and sprinkles which is then mixed thoroughly, this gives it a unique taste and texture. And why do they call it concrete? It’s that you can actually turnover your mixed serving upside down and the mix wouldn’t move a bit, its stuck like a concrete to the cup.
