Just got myself Eurostar eSm@rtTv+ device that converts your HDMI enabled tv into a smart tv. Although I am using a Sony Smart TV which has its own features, but with this device, you can finally add full capabilities of a Android computer system to your TV. This comes in very handy when browsing content , viewing streaming videos, playing games on a big screen etc.

What makes this device unique is that its a plug and play, which means all you have to do is power it up and plug into your tv, and it smartly fits/sits on top of your flatscreens as well.

Another feature that makes a big difference is the all in one keyboard/mouse/remote which allows you seamless control of the device. Although you may need to spend few minutes getting used to air movement of the remote to control the device.

The device supports rich HDMI output, and has builtin wireless which connects it to the inter-webs. There is extra slot for USB and also MicroSD card expansion slot to add more storage. It comes with 4gb internal storage.

A real handy feature is the builtin camera and mic which allows you to do video chats via softwares like Skype and Google Hangouts. Oh and btw since its an Android based device it will feel like using an Android tablet and or phone as the interface is same and all the apps are available for download via the Google Play Store.

Its quite a stable system with Over The Air upgrade capabilities and Android 4.0.4 OS. The device retails for approx KD 45 in the market, and is available at most retailers like Carrefour, City Center, Geant etc.

Here are some more pics of the device:
