Bolivia could change OPEC to OEEC

Submitted by DA on Wednesday, 29 April 2009No Comment

Watch this documentary which shows that Lithium, the main ingredient of clean fuel ‘battery’ for the next generation of vehicles, is abundant in Bolivia. Bolivia is sitting on nearly 70-80% of Lithium reserves of the World. It is so freely available that one can scrap it off the salt flats. Bolivian government machinery is working fulltime on harnessing this reserve of clean energy. This all sounds like history repeating itself, with the same happening in Gulf few decades back. The parallels are all there, a country which is the poorest in the World embarks on the new found energy, and moves to the top of the economic ladder. The good thing with Bolivia is that there is a socialist government, and hopefully their success wont go through their heads and make them as arrogant as the OPEC countries. So will Bolivia kick out OPEC [Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries] and start OEEC [Organization of Energy Exporting Countries]? Well the World is changing fast..economies are adjusting themselves to counter the greed of OPEC, and clean energy is the way out. Unless OPEC can come up with clean energy resources and/or invest in some, the outlook is bright for OEEC rather than OPEC.
