Breaking News[Rumors]: Zain makes incoming local/international free: VIVA local calls 18 fils

Apparently Zain has decided to make local/international incoming calls free. This seems to be a strike against VIVA the new telecom operator in Kuwait. Also rumors are filtering in that VIVA local calls will be 18 fils/minute. I am still waiting on confirmation for this. BTW lets see what Wataniya response will be?!

Well.. for Zain i have tried.. call form landline to my own phone..and yes it is free..not charging.. but dont know..if it is permanent or just for time being.

Got my viva Prepaid sim yesterday. The only Plus is that the number is same as my Home Number. Now I realised people dial by using Name and nobody knows my home number.
15 KD for SIM with 15 KD Talktime for 3 months – No advantage.
Internet 1 fils per KB ? Open any webpage and guaranteed to lose a minimum of 500 fils.
3G for 27 KD a month ???? Very Disappointed. NO WAY..
Free Incoming. – No more exclusive to VIVA.
Prepaid is 38 Fils a minute. I saved 2 fils a minute. GREAT.
Coverage is BAD. In my office in shuwaikh 0-1 BAR as against 3 BARS for ZAIN/4 BARS WATANIYA. In my home in salmiya, VIVA 1-2 BARS as against 3-4 BARS for ZAIN/WATANIYA.
Maybe i will try the line for 3 months and make up for the 15 KD I Lost. Then maybe GOODBYE VIVA.
Anyway Thanks to VIVA, my Zain and Wataniya lines have free incoming now.
Mr DA, from where did you hear that Viva will be charging 18 fils per minute?? what I have heard is that the charges are 38 fils per minute. I am really confused. May be charges from Viva to Viva will be 18 fils and to other networks, it will be 38 fils. I dont know
Does anyone have any idea???
