National Assembly getting a facelift / extension

Kuwait’s National Assembly is about to get an extension and possibly a facelift. New banners have popped up in the vicinity of the National Assembly building indicating imminent construction. Seems they are adding more offices.

[DEM] Barrack Obama has won the historic US Presidential elections, beating [REP] John McCain. Finally we can hope for positive changes in the World affairs after nearly a decade of war-mongering, economic disasters and climate of mis-trust and anxiety. Go Obama!

Traffic department has finally figured out that the existing traffic cameras are no good. As per the GTD [general traffic department], the cameras in use now are flawed and will be replaced by radar based cameras. In case you are wondering what a photo radar camera looks like here is a pic.
