QualityNet

My new DSL connection from QualityNet was activated yesterday, and surprisingly it took less than 48 hours from purchasing to activation. Installation was a zippy..and one thing I would like to mention is the service so far, both network [double bandwidth] and their customer service is amazing. I really like the concept of notifying the customer at every stage through email and SMS. I purchased an annual package via QStore and received further discount. The only thing that remains is the scratch & win card that they have for purchases over KD 50 and lets see if I can win one of their laptops in daily lucky draw :D

QualityNet double bandwidth Offers [LINK]

2 days of zero Internet, and then Hello QualityNet !

This weekend I decided to boycott Internet completely. This was not in protest of anything or anyone in particular, but just a self-benefit exercise. There are times when you want to disconnect yourself completely from all bounds, and especially for someone like me who spends nearly 15-16 hours a day in front of the dumb terminals. It was a liberating experience although had bad cravings for Internet in the first few hours. Kept busy sleeping, watching marathon movies, shopping around, eating at various joints, and just relaxing.Would like to repeat this again soon…

On other hand finally opted for QualityNet as my DSL provider, scooping up their double bandwidth offer. Faxed papers today, now there is a wait for atleast 3 days before the connection can be finalised. Keeping fingers crossed..
