Etisalat in UAE has postpaid plans only, but Mobily in Saudi is offering both prepaid and post paid options. So if you grab one from Saudi, its gonna cost [...]
Nokia’s latest & greatest [according to many] the N97 touchscreen gizmo, the iPhone nemesis is slated for release by the end of June rather than end of March as first assumed. Many websites are already taking pre-orders [with shipping by June 23rd], and have priced the device at Euros 800-1000 approx. This means that this [...]
News outlets are buzzing that atleast “two” mobile carrier companies in Kuwait are already complaining that they are not able to make huge ripoff profits from us, after the incoming call charges were lifted late last year. Now who could these “two” companies be?! Ofcourse we all know that these would be the same companies [...]
hmmm..this is interesting. Calling Kuwait numbers has become confusing from India [atleast]. Ever since the new numbering system was introduced, it seems calls to the new numbers with extra digits from India doesnt work. Further to earlier cuts in the International telephone calls rates in 2008, MOC in Kuwait is slashing the call rates by upto 50% to International destinations from January 4th, 2009.
This is a really welcome move from MOC. Now if only MOC can allow VOIP services like Skype things would be more transparent.
