The economic meltdown has claimed a behemoth from US auto industry, Chrysler. Chrysler and its brands of Dodge,and  Jeep amongst others has finally bowed down to the pressure of overwhelming debt and bad sales. They have decided to file for bankruptcy protection immediately. This will also affect its vast dealer network. The only positive thing out of this would be that FIAT the Italian car maker has agreed to combine the resources of Chrysler with its own, but only for producing small cars.

I am sure this will affect dealer networks outside US also…lets see how Kuwaiti dealers respond to this now
