Daily Star Kuwait end of a relationship

Bookmark and Share

I have decided to re-subscribe to Arab Times Kuwait finally. After agonizing couple of months of Daily Star Kuwait, I feel its time to switch back to the top leader. Daily Star Kuwait has absolutely no content value, and it seems to piggy back on International Herald Tribune for its circulation numbers.

Pick Daily Star Kuwait any day and open the pages and you will see same content at same place and again and again and again. I thought they would work on getting the content standard up but it seems they have decided to be stale. Be it exact advertisements or be it a dedicated full back page of ‘Around Kuwait’ comprising of same information same pictures at same positions, DSK has failed all or rather any expectations of mine. And I believe there would be many more like me around Kuwait.

They have failed miserably to get any foothold in the Kuwait market and I would be surprised if they go anywhere upwards from here unless a major reshuffle takes place right from editorial processes to reporting to marketing to journalism.

This is my end of relationship with Daily Star Kuwait.

    I tired a subscription once.
The stories were bad, the language worse.
They seriously need an English Language Editor.
