Friday-Saturday days off confirmed, effective Sept 1

Arab Times has news from an anonymous and reliable government source confirming Friday-Saturday as off days, effective September 1. This has been approved by the cabinet and certain government organizations have already taken steps for this move.
My question is, if such a decision has been taken at cabinet level, why don’t we see official circulars/ads in the mainstream media from the Government. This would lay to rest the confusion on the validity this issue.

they probably wanna do it as quietly as possible so that they surprise the bearded ones when it’s too late for them to do anything about it!
I think we are going to see a very interesting September. If this is really going to happen, doesn’t there need to be some preparation, some instructions to businesses, etc? And Just a month ago, there was an article in the Kuwait Times saying it was definitely OFF, that the weekend would remain Thursday-Friday. Interesting times.
