    Thank you for posting these photos. My family originated in Mumbai (we are East Indians ie Maharashtrians who were converted to Christianity by the Portuguese). We are now scattered all over the world – in the US, Canada, UK, Singapore, South-East Asia and Australia. To our children, India is a foreign land. To change that, we (the adults in our family who grew up in India) are in the process of collaborating on a family tree and plan to expand the project to include photos of places in which our ancestors lived. Your photos are invaluable in making our children aware of their roots and where they have come from. I cannot thank you enough…
