Google has announced plans for Google Apps Premiere Edition which should start worrying Micro$oft. This new feature is targeted towards both business and home users. Google is introducing fat email accounts [10Gb] with apps like Gmail, Google Talk, Google Calendar, Docs & Spreadsheets, Page Creator and Start Page, APIs for enterprises and no relevant text ads. Facility for user management and single sign-on is also in the pkg. Email accounts with reportedly domain hosting features is also in the package. All this and more for US$ 50 per user / per year. Seems like a steal compared to US$ 500 plus for Micro$oft office standard and premium.
