In case of a War…what is the safety strategy?

Nuclear War

Date August 1990, time every moment, event Iraqi Occupation and then the Gulf War. Many of us were here, and those amongst us witnessed one of the most painful chapters in the history of Kuwait. Result was a mass exodus via Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Iran. The events were totally unexpected, and we were all caught off-guard. The local economy was wiped out, humanity crushed, suffering ensued. At that time the enemy was an encroaching army. The safety strategy at that time was political pressure, and a friendly army. Nearly two decades have passed by and we are still reeling from the pain of those days. I suffered, you suffered, they suffered and we all suffered.

This time again..date uncertain, time uncertain, place nearby, event a War…or rather Nuclear War. The enemy a weapon , a cataclysmic event and the result a suffering so great that the humanity would drown in the tears of the innocent and innocence will be lost forever. There will be no friendly army this time, because the retaliation would be more deadly, to them and to us, it would be by the same weapon. An eye for an eye…What is our safety strategy? Are we prepared to suffer with scars that would affect not only us, but our generations to come? Is there a place we can seek refuge, only this time never to come back? The land would be tainted forever, the air poisoned, water contaminated, economy dissolved, natural resources inaccessible and life vanished…This time there may not be a great suffering, because this time there will be no one around.

Do we have a safety strategy?

The safest strategy in this case, and considering the possibility of nuclear fallout-let alone nuclear war-is to RUN!!

Get away from the immediate area, to a safer geographic location, then catch the best flight to a more civilized area, like Alaska! Gamma rays have a helluval long half-life, and will circle the globe and follow you, wherever you are. Your best bet is to minimize exposure, since stopping it is next to impossible!

    Run like the wind!
