Got an email from Jazeera…seems they have dropped a bomb in the travellers bag to Indian sub-continent. Jazeera has effectively canceled all flights to and from Mumbai Intl airport effective January 3rd. No reasons given so far.  I did ask the rep over the phone if this is short-term or long-term, and the reply was ‘long-term’. I had 2 bookings in mid-January so called them up and asked for re-scheduling. The re-scheduling is ‘free‘ and of course is available for travel dates upto 3rd Jan only.
