Kahin Na Kahi Milenge : First Bollywood movie in Kuwait : Cheesiness galore

Right on..just saw this showreel of Kahin Na Kahi Milenge, the first Bollywood movie made in Kuwait. Apart from all the cheesy dialogues, over the top soapish acting, lots of teary dramas, and B-Grade movie actors [only 2 from the entire cast], and WTF song sequences of stereotype arabs [apparently Kuwaitis] dancing and singing a few arabic phrases, the movie is well on its way to Kuwaiti cinemas. The showreel gives you a glimpse of Kuwait city with major landmarks Kuwait Towers, Entertainment City, few restaurants etc etc…Man I got shivers up my spine within the first 30 seconds with all the tom-foolery..and was laughing hysterically towards the middle..and face palmed myself by the end.
Get ready to be bombarded with cheese bombs in case you would like to peek through the movie when it releases. Most of those who will catch this movie would rather be happy to see Kuwait on large screen rather than the dismal acting and cast. Oh BTW if anyone tells you a ’superstar’ word about the actors in the movie, dont buy it for a fils, cause the leads are totally unknown faces. As I mentioned above only 2 faces are recognizable Kiran Kumar and Shakti Kapoor who although were good side-actors in 80’s and 90’s but are now relenquished to the small screen in Indian sub-continent.
The film seems to be shot on a hi-def camera rather than a proper movie camera [sorry I am not good at classifying cameras]. Oh another thing ..the storyline of the movie is about how an Indian comes to Kuwait over 25 years ago to make a living and save money for future so he can retire back to his hometown/village in India once he his old. Finally the day comes when he would like to go back after years of slogging in Kuwait. But his daughter considers Kuwait to be her motherland [yeah right] and would rather stay back. And so the drama ensues. I hope this is the story line
