KFAS Kuwait Prize 2009 : Invitation for Nominations

The Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) institutionalized the KUWAIT Prize to recognize distinguished accomplishments in the arts, humanities and sciences.

The Prizes are awarded annually in the following categories:
A. Basic Sciences
B. Applied Sciences
C. Economics and Social Sciences
D. Arts and Literature
E. Arabic and Islamic Scientific Heritage

The Prizes for 2009 will be awarded in the following fields:
A. Basic Sciences [Physics]
B. Applied Sciences [Cancer Diseases]
C. Economics and Social Sciences [Privatization programs and their effects on development in the Arab World]
D. Arts and Literature [Studies in Children literature]
E. Arabic and Islamic Scientific Heritage [City planning & topography]
