Seems to me the article is faithful to what the Minister of Interior said. Are you suggesting that the newspaper pretty up the words so as to make it sound less offensive? Would you prefer the newspaper put words in the mouth of the Interior Minister or report what he actually said?
@GypsyQ8: Yes the newspaper should use more careful worded headlines. Imagine using the word nig###s to describe afro-americans [next president of US], and the uproar that would follow it.
Kuwait Times is just plain lost. Translation has very little to do with it.
Did you guys notice the spelling error in the article itself? At the end it says “field” insted of “filed”, so its not just translation, it’s spelling as well :s
