Thank you for the great response all you ‘surfers‘ gave for the ’something is coming…’ campaign. The hits went through the roof !!

Well as you know by now that it was all for this LG Chocolate phone I was expecting from Amazon [UK]. Well first of all the ordering process itself was a breeze but Amazon delayed the order by couple of days, and they agreed to refund delivery charges, which is yet to be seen.

Secondly amazing service from UShopWeShip for delivering this phone in less than 24 hours to me. Although it was thursday afternoon yet they called on time and we agreed on me picking up the phone directly from their offices. Its right across Landmark in Al-Rai. They trade from within the Al-Sawan logistics offices.

But now for the Chocolate , well the phone in one word is SEXY. I actually thought that the phone had atleast one OK button on the main screen, but that is also in it’s true form is touch sensitive. The phone is amazingly fluid, the dynamics of the design [aesthetics] is beyond words super-sexy. Has software for synchronisation with my Outlook contacts, Schedules and memos. The menu has all the bits n pieces of a modern phone. Supports MP3, poly, midi tones. Has 1.3 mega-pixel camera with gr8 video. Only bad thing is fixed 128 MB memory. Also the recharger and hands free [supplied] have a tricky connector. Overall the phone is a bold statement and I have my PDA-2K with GPRS/WiFi for all the nitty gritty stuff.
