Low Tide conditions in Kuwait

Submitted by DA on Sunday, 18 February 20072 Comments

Low tide conditions prevail near Shuwaikh Port since early morning. You can see the land mass in the pic emerging out of water. Wonder how the ships would sail into the port? Would have a bumpy ride for sure. And I thought ports were supposed to be deep. Maybe I am wrong and all this is some algae-plankton-seaweed passing by! Showers expected tonight.

there’s a ship path which has been dredged in the shallow waters of the joun “gulf of kuwait”. the smooth rive-like stream under the tug boat in your photo shows that path.
