Nokia N97 release date not March but June?!

Nokia’s latest & greatest [according to many] the N97 touchscreen gizmo, the iPhone nemesis is slated for release by the end of June rather than end of March as first assumed. Many websites are already taking pre-orders [with shipping by June 23rd], and have priced the device at Euros 800-1000 approx. This means that this baby is gonna set you back atleast KD 300 in Kuwait. Whoa! Anyone care to fork that kind of money in these recessionary times?!

  • To all the people who want to buy Nokia N97 - be aware that nokia n97 has faulty gps issues, i got mine one month back from Alghanim and i just cant get the gps signals to work on the dam thing!

    i have sent mine to nokia for their testing but dont know the outcome.anyways, if anybody plans to buy the n97 check the gps first as online there have been a lot of forums commenting on faulty gps on n97 on the early sets.

    i just wish that alghanim had some say in it as the set was bought from them but they pushed me on to nokia...

    @LoudDiskreet - Hey there im Waiting on Fire Here Since 5 Months ago... I Want that Phone So bad.. But the Problem is I dont know The Exact Release Date Cuz I Want to Buy This For My Birthday So I Dont Wanna Wait Much longer ... So If u know the Date that Will Ship In Kuwait And Ready To Use And Yes It Will be Like 220-250kd It Will Not Reach The 300kd ..Omg I Cant even Look At it Anymore ... I Really "WANT" that Phone Its "WHITE" (T-T)!!!

    I cant wait to check it out. The 5800 with it's touchscreen was okay, but I still wanted a hardware keyboard, which is why the N97 is looking particularly sweet to me.

    The dates set to the end of june only because, the new OS has a few bugs that need to be fixed...!

    NOKIA fones hardly ever reach 300 K.D., the price will b approx within 250 K.D!

    but hopefully, once released, the N97 will be kickin the iPhones sorry A** all the way home! :P

    Rocky my Boy Touch Screen might not be new... but Touch screen with symbian you can say its new only
