holograms 2

Hitachi has pioneered a new way to communicate. They have released a new gizmo that can project 3d [holographic] content. They recently unveiled this technology at SIGGRAPH 2007. The device is small and only weighs 1kg for starters. And guess what…they are planning to deploy this tech into your cell phones! Oh well there goes 3G out of the window and here come 3D enabled network. Plus they are also planning to utilize this tech in televisions.

TeleHologram - The Future merges with the present.
I imagine the HD3D telehologram may use 3 laser cameras to capture a person or object to a hologram video recording, together with a laser beam that was recorded without being reflected from the image. Could the recording be done, not just to a static picture negative, but to a video recorder? And in multi colors also? And then we would need a method of play back of the holograms to the viewer which also has a player with the same light frequency, which could be synchronized using typical telecommunication synchronizing signals and timing, with the initial laser beams, so that the recipient will also be able to SEE the original in enhanced 3D effect. And track this output to microscopes, telescopes, and personal viewers connected to the local transmitter by WIFI methods, and interface with other technical design computers, so that we can view details in holographic video. Allow children to take these ideas further and let them revolutionise our world soon with new peaceful ways to teleview the wonders of reality and of sharing brilliant televideo imagination of inventive minds. Imagine how this could change intricate medical procedures, and other design methods in all types of occupations, ranging from virtual keyboards and virtual vehicle controls, to improved motor engine design and even new methods of agriculture. I hope you will use HD3D teleholograms to help us to make our world more friendly to animals, plants and other inhabitants of this planet.

Star Wars Holograms invade Hospitals and Apartments
Please DA give us more details. Will Hitachi and Huawei and Microsoft cooperate to incorporate telehologram technology and uninterruptible computer interfaces to machines as part of Windows 7 before 2010? DA your article was the first time I thought to imagine we will soon use high definition three dimensional holograms being transmitted via the telephone and current INTERNET technology. Could CISCO and other communication systems transmit and store the images for common use by 2010, and if so, will KUWAIT build low cost hubs to feed multi-dwelling apartment buildings, linked by WIFI to provide internet and telephone access to neighboring telecommunication companies? Is hologram guidance for medical surgeons in hospital theaters available to guide tiny machinery injected into the body for use in delicate eye operations, internal organ corrections, and brain surgery? Some terms may be brand or trade marked, but is this field new or just under reported in popular magazines?
