Been quite a while since I have reviewed a joint. This time its Red Chinese [Salmiya]. We decided to watch T-20 World Cup Finals [Cricket] while munching on chinese last night. I had passed by Red Chinese couple of times and had their number saved. Ordered for spring rolls, fried rice, chicken cantonese noodles, stir fried chicken in hot garlic sauce. It took around 1 hour for the delivery. The food was delivered in chinese delivery boxes [conical ones] which I prefer from those rectangular boxes. Food arrived while it was hot and ready to be plundered. Overall food tasted excellent and serving sizes were really generous. Food was accompanied with assorted sauces. Chinese food if not prepared/cooked well can stink, and I am very picky about aromas that come out of the food before you even dig in. The preparations were well done and spices and juices were flowing in with every bite.

The one thing I was looking forward to was chop-sticks with the plastic cutlery, but I have spare ones lying around home so no fret. The total tab came to around KD 3-4 per person which is very decent. One thing I would like to nag about is the delivery time given that I live max 10 minutes drive from the joint. Overall impression..its on my Chinese takeaway list as of now. Rating 4/5
