Asking residents/citizens of Kuwait or any Gulf state if these laborers should have basic legal rights - and have those rights actually protected and enforced - isn't stupid. Its necessary. You would rather that there is no debate, no questions asked? Having the right to strike seems reasonable and yet the law forbids it. What other options would you suggest they employ? If you weren't paid for four, six or eight months, what would you do?
