VIVA the 3rd telecom in Kuwait

The entire Kuwait metro seems to be dotted with VIVA ads now..from Gulf Road to Kuwait City to suburbs. Major marketing blitz for the 3rd telecom is storming in. Should we be interested?! NOPES….looking at the money mongering tactics of previous two Wataniya and Zain…wont be surprised if VIVA hits you where it hurts most, right in your wallets. BTW..we had Red from Wataniya, Purple from Zain, now get ready for White wash from VIVA. Wonder where they get the names from..VIVA?!?!?! VIVA word-origin is Italian, Portugese, Spanish for LONG LIVE!

For those of you wondering about the website address well it will be www.viva.com.kw as per the domain registrar records. The site doesnt exist yet…but they should have atleast put up a banner of VIVA advertisement there. See pic below..

    zain has now stopped charging for incoming calls so i guess there was competition, a friend of mine does have viva and assures me its good and i should convert. I myself prefer Zain but she insists that upon using viva i will be more satisfied with their customer care! The only problem she has is that she has to have a pin on eveything!
    Why can't Kuwait get phone lines like the UK with reasonable tariffs and fees!!

    I am very disappointing with this none costumer relation acts, companies being new they beg costumers to exist and to become in the marketplace , then they black mail costumers in providing poor service and high prices without any compromise. is this the new world order slave people. and then what, zero contribution to society.

    I thougth that this new telecominication company will pull back the others to do the incoming calls for free but still the same with the 2 giant here in kuwait, there is no competition at all infact they share the people with them. I hope that both ministry and this companies will remove the charges for incoming call...

  • Anybody give me an idea that who is incharge of viva outlet projects. We are an interior designing company who did all Wataniya Telecommunication's renovated outlets. We like to meet the responsible person. Please contact 00965 24319923/4.The telephone # in thier website is not working.

    Who said that we are not interested on VIVA. all i can say ZAIN and Wataniya are crap! so its time for a change!!!!
  • I hope viva can reduce the crime in this country.There are lot off poor labours are calling their families through internet cafe. They knows they are doing crime but high rates not allow them to call or receive calls at low rates. Best wishes for all VIVA families.
