My Arab Times subscription is over, and the guys from Arab Times called in to collect subscription fee for the next year, which is KD 45. Well I started my subscription with KD 35 offer and that rate isnt applicable for renewals. So my options are:
1. Wait for rates to go down to KD 35
2. Pick Kuwait Times or Daily Star
3. Pay KD 45 for Arab Times
Time to decide….
updates:
Seems both Daily Star and Kuwait Times do not have support staff working on Thursdays/Fridays. Bad move. Just wanted to get info on their subscription rates. BTW strange none of these papers have any info on subscription on their website. It would be great if they could at least put up contacts and prices for subscription on their website. After all they are in the business of selling newspapers aren’t they? Very bad move…:(

well i don’t read English papers but hey nice blog u have here
You could not subscribe to any and just check their websites instead.
Arab Time, DailyStar and Kuwait Times all have online websites where you could read the news for free.
@Ali & Musaed: Thx for the comment
@Mark: True the sites are there but need the paper for other family members at home
I like DailyStar the most since the layout is a lot cleaner and easier to read then the others. I find Kuwait Times the worst of the three but I believe Arab Times is the most popular.
I find the Arab Times interesting in that it publishes some things the Kuwait Times doesn’t, but the writing and content is more tabloid.
My subscription to the Kuwait Times is 30KD/year delivered. I like being able to cut things out. Online doesn’t cover all the stuff that the real paper covers.
Hi,
I would recommend the Arab Times, they have the most professional look & content. Kuwait times resembles to most UK’s tabloids whereas the DS is a total failure.
