Yahoo = AOL = Netscape = Copying each other?

Yahoo = AOL = Netscape

..so whats up with Yahoo, AOL and Netscape?! Their portals are sort of mirror copies of each other. So who is copying who??

    Since Netscape is in fact a subsidiary of AOL, it’s not really one company copying another. It’s just a slightly different branded portal to the exact same content. (note the AOL logo at the top of the Netscape page, and the fact that the page is nearly word-for-word identical). As to Yahoo! they have a similar layout for sure, but that basic layout has been around for years, and has been used by many different companies/sites.

    It’s an engine which was developed my yahoo! first, a similar prototype is being used by Netscape and if you noticed, by Msn too
